The Job Bank of Rio das Ostras, in Partnership with CIS Brazil, Announces Availability of Nearly 500 Offshore Positions in the Region.

The search for new opportunities in the job market gains an important ally in Rio das Ostras, where the Job Bank, an agency linked to the Department of Economic Development and Tourism of the City Hall, together with CIS Brazil, opens doors for about 500 offshore positions, covering a variety of roles. The opportunities include various functions such as Cook, Cook Assistant, Waiter, Governance, Nutritionist, Receptionist, Chef, Bakers, and Kitchen Helpers, offering a range of options for candidates with varying levels of education and experience.

Selection Process Aims to Fill Nearly 500 Offshore Positions for Unexperienced Professionals

The selection process began last Thursday, (08/10), and will continue until today, Friday, August 11, starting at 9 AM, at the Job Bank facilities.

To ensure the safety of candidates and avoid crowds, the distribution of tickets will be limited, and interviews will be spread out over these two days.

The company does not require offshore experience but emphasizes the importance of proving prior experience in a similar role or activity on land.

Additionally, candidates must have the mandatory boarding courses (CBSP and Huet) and the qualifications necessary for the desired area of work.

Some Positions Have Specific Requirements

For example, for the positions of baker and kitchen assistant, proof of training will be required within 12 months after starting the job, if the candidate has more than three years of experience.

In the case of a waiter, if the candidate has more than three years of experience as a waiter, the course will be required within 12 months after starting work.

For the chef position, with proven experience of over five years, no professional training will be required.

Required Documentation

Candidates participating in the interviews must present a series of documents, including ID, CPF, proof of residence (utility bills are accepted), proof of education (transcript, certificate, or school declaration), vaccination card, updated resume, and Work Card (physical or digital).

Additional Information

The offshore positions are updated daily and can be checked through the Municipal Portal of Rio das Ostras, at the link. Interested parties can also obtain information by phone at (22) 2771 – 6413.

The opportunities are available at the Job Bank, and interested candidates can attend one of the service points from Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

The service locations include the headquarters of the Department of Economic Development and Tourism, located at Extensão do Bosque (Praça Prefeito Cláudio Ribeiro, s/nº), or the Citizenship Center (Rua das Casuarinas, 595, in Âncora).
