Qualificar ES Program Opens 20,000 Slots for Free Online and Distance Learning Courses for the General Public

Government of Espírito Santo Is Offering Thousands of Places in Free Online Courses Through the Qualifying ES Program.

Through the Secretariat of Science, Technology, Innovation, and Professional Education (Secti), the State Government opened registrations on Wednesday (15) for the first offering of free online courses from the Qualifying ES Program this year. Initially, 20,000 places will be offered to the general public in this new offering.

List of Free Online and EAD Courses Offered

According to the Qualifying ES Program Notice, the requirements to participate in the selection process are: to be at least 16 years old, have internet access, and have basic computer and internet navigation skills. Among the free online courses offered are:

Administrative Assistant

This course aims to provide graduates with the skills to plan, manage, and organize administrative processes with a view towards coordinating human resources, production, finance, logistics, and sales, observing operational procedures and legislation, with an emphasis on improving educational levels.

Daycare Assistant

This course intends to offer professionals rich, functional, and effective content, addressing their role in the school environment, aiming to provide the well-being and development of children in a climate of emotional and physical safety, through joint support with the head teacher.

Occupational Safety

The objective is to train technical professionals in Occupational Safety to promote Quality of Life at Work by preserving the health of workers and ensuring safety in processes, the environment, and workspaces, responding to the needs of the regional market.

Financial Management of Small and Medium Enterprises

This course enables students to analyze and control the financial activities of their company. Thus, it will be possible to make more accurate decisions and, consequently, maximize financial results.

Learn How to Register for the Qualifying ES Program

According to the Secretary of State for Science, Technology, Innovation, and Professional Education, Bruno Lamas, the online training courses of the program facilitate citizens’ access to vocational courses. Lamas emphasizes that these places enable residents from all municipalities in ES to open new doors in the job market.

The government of Espírito Santo qualifies the workforce, generates jobs and income, boosting sectors of the economy. This is a great training opportunity for the population, given that online education is characterized by being more flexible, as it can be conducted remotely. It is the democratization of the pursuit of knowledge made possible by the State Government.

Registrations are now open and must be made on the Qualifying ES site between February 15 and 27. Candidates may make up to two registrations per CPF and email, in different free online courses. Selection will be based on the order of registration on the site, and the list of classified candidates will be published on the 3rd of the following month.

Understand How Classes Will Be Held

The free online courses take place in the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA), on the Program’s website, via video lessons, digital materials, and assignments. Classes can be taken from anywhere in Espírito Santo and at any time, through smartphones, computers, and tablets.

At the end of the course, approved students will receive certification. It is important to mention that the Qualifying ES Program was established in May 2019, aiming to promote professional qualification for Espírito Santo citizens.
