Sulnorte Is Excited and Optimistic About the Project That Will Enable the Construction of 10 Tugs at the Rio Maguari Shipyard, PA
Sulnorte Serviços Marítimos reported that it is quite optimistic about the project for the construction of ten new port tugs of the RAmparts 2500 class, in partnership with the Rio Maguari shipyard, which provides shipbuilding services in the Icoaraci district of Belém, Pará.

According to the company, these vessels will be constructed based on a design from the renowned Canadian company Robert Allan Ltd, known for innovative designs, and will feature the following main characteristics: 25 meters in length, 12 meters in beam, a draft of 4.6 meters, 75 tons of static pulling power, and a power of 4,700Kw, being capable of developing an average speed of 12 Knots.
“A project focused on port support operations, featuring vessels with a more compact size, with appropriate power and bollard pull for the various demands of port support activities, always allowing for a quick and effective performance in high-traffic ports”, said Sulnorte in its official communication channels.
