The program will consist of live online meetings, that is, synchronous remote sessions. Classes will be taught by PUCPR professors with market experience, who will utilize the Challenge-Based Learning methodology, in which students are invited to solve real-world challenges in order to enhance their knowledge. In this course, these challenges will primarily focus on software coding.
“This is a unique opportunity to enter the job market, as the program has a strong emphasis on generating internship opportunities. The ultimate goal of the course is to prepare students for the start of their professional careers in the software development area of the Volvo Group, one of the largest vehicle manufacturers in the world,” comments Vilmar Abreu, a professor at PUCPR’s Polytechnic School.
