The global giants of the automobile sector BMW, Volkswagen, Tesla, Kawasaki, Toyota and Voltz are already investing heavily in transforming combustion vehicles into electric models.
Hyderabad-based electric two-wheeler company PURE launched the cellphone-priced EPluto 7G electric scooter earlier this year, but it has clearly not received the recognition it deserves. The main highlight of the scooter is its autonomy of up to 120km that it offers with a full charge, together with the power of 2200W that its engine produces.

But perhaps the biggest draw is the design. It screams retro and is reminiscent of old Bajaj Chetak models, especially when you look at the tail light. Still, the design borrows most from the Vespa Notte 125 thanks to a rounded yet slim bodywork, circular LED headlight and chrome-finished mirrors.

Don't get too carried away with its old-fashioned appearance, as the vehicle is packed with technology. With features like a smart 5-inch LCD, Smart Lock with provision AntiTheft, multiple speed modes and disc brakes at the front, it's clear that the EPluto 7G is no ordinary two-wheeler.
Moving on to the power supply, the scooter packs a 60V 2.5kWh portable battery that can be filled easily from your home. It is capable of a range of approximately 90-120kms on a single full charge which takes up to 4 hours. The electric motor powered by it produces high torque and can run at scooter at a maximum speed of 60kmph.
Other specs include a 5-second acceleration time to reach 40kmph, 10-inch alloy wheels, gradability of 12 degrees and comfortable seats for two people.
The EPluto 7g is not a recent release. On the contrary, the electric motorcycle has been on the market for some time.
A scooter electrical PURE EPluto 7G comes in several color options: Ruby Red, Shadow Black, Electronic Blue, Active Gray, Pearl White and Striped Yellow and is priced at US$1.076 (approximately R$5921).
The motorcycle has been on the market for some time, however, as it is an Indian manufacturer, located in the city of Haiderabad, the product went unnoticed in the international market.
With a competitive price and good specifications, the vehicle does not fall short of other models. Like the Triumph TE-1 model, for example, which has 197km of autonomy.

The electric motorcycle market, as well as electric cars, is growing over the years. As we can see, it seems that most companies in the automobile sector will invest heavily in transforming vehicles into electric models.
But the battery is one of the critical points for car technology, Tesla's own founders explained how this was the main challenge at the beginning of the company
BMW, for example, has already revealed the CE 02, which was designed for a young audience. Kawasaki also announced that by 2035 it intends to have its entire lineup made up of electric powered motorcycles. Toyota, for example, intends to invest up to US$3,4 billion in automotive batteries by 2030.
The German manufacturer Volkswagen could not be left out of the dispute, and intends to deliver one million units by 2023 and one and a half million by 2025. This results in an investment of €35 billion.
According to Forbes, Volkswagen will be able to manufacture electric cars for a lower production value than those powered by diesel and gasoline by the deadline mentioned above.
Still on the subject, we have already reported Voltz here, startup Brazilian manufacturer of electric motorcycles. According to data from the company itself, it would have sold 3200 motorcycles in 2020 and reached a turnover of R$42 million in the same year.
