How The Distribution Of Places Works
The selection process for the Software Engineering course at UFMT offers 150 positions, which are distributed among five educational poles.

- Cuiabá: 30 positions

The selection process follows the inclusion policy, with reserved quotas for self-declared black, brown, indigenous, quilombola candidates, people with disabilities, and public school students with proven low income.

Requirements To Participate In The Selection Process
Those interested in participating in the selection process for the Software Engineering course at UFMT must meet some basic requirements.
Among them, the need to have a high school diploma or equivalent is highlighted.
In addition, candidates for affirmative action vacancies must present specific documentation at the time of registration.

Selection Criteria: How The Evaluation Works
The selection process will be conducted based on the analysis of the High School Academic Record or the ENEM scores from the last ten editions.
Candidates will be ranked by the average scores in Portuguese Language and Mathematics, with additional points for other areas if the ENEM was taken in more recent years.
In case of a tie, additional criteria will be considered, such as age and the score obtained in the Portuguese subject.
This ensures that the process is fair and takes into account different aspects of the candidates’ performance.
