According to IFSP, the training is recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC) and is aimed at education professionals seeking to enhance their skills in elementary and secondary education.

Course Details and Available Spots
The teaching specialization offered by IFSP has a structured workload designed to train professionals who work directly in basic education. In total, there are 40 spots distributed across two categories:
General Competition: 29 spots are available for any candidate who applies for the selection process, including those opting for affirmative actions.
Affirmative Actions: 11 spots are reserved for black, brown, quilombola, indigenous candidates, and people with disabilities (PWD), according to Resolution IFSP No. 41/2017. Of these, 20% are designated for self-declared black or indigenous individuals, and 5% for PWD.
The training aims to prepare professionals to face the challenges of basic education in Brazil, promoting innovative pedagogical practices.
Who Can Participate in the Selection Process?
To compete for a spot, it is necessary to meet some important requirements:
Degree Recognized by MEC: It is mandatory to present a higher education diploma or certificate of completion issued by an Institution of Higher Education (IES) also recognized by MEC.
Acting in the Education Field: Candidates with professional ties in public, private educational institutions or civil society organizations of public interest have priority. However, graduates without an employment relationship may also apply.

Applications and Selection Method
Applications will be open from January 17 to February 24, 2025, exclusively through the official website of IFSP Campinas Campus.
The entire selection process will be conducted online and will include a public drawing as the classification criterion.
According to the public notice, the drawing will be conducted by the Organizing Committee, composed of at least three members, and its recording will be made available on the campus’s official channels.
The list of approved candidates will be published on the same day as the drawing, along with the numbers assigned to the candidates.
