Types of Courses Offered by USP
USP courses are organized into four main types: specialization, improvement, updating, and dissemination. Each type caters to different audiences and objectives. Here are the main characteristics of each:

- Updating: With a minimum workload of 30 hours, these courses aim to disseminate the progress of knowledge in specific areas, in a more focused manner.
- Dissemination: With a minimum workload of 4 hours, these courses aim to share knowledge and techniques with the general community.
Extension Activities for Graduates
In addition to the courses, USP also offers extension activities aimed exclusively at graduates, divided into three categories:
- Professional Practice: Focused on enhancing the exercise of professional activities.
- Updating Program: Develops knowledge or techniques in specific areas, allowing participants to stay updated.
- Residency: Aimed at deepening scientific knowledge and technical proficiency through on-the-job training.
