If you dream of a career in public service, this may be your chance! ICMBio (Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation) has opened applications for a public competition offering 350 vacancies across Brazil. The opportunities are for the positions of environmental analyst and administrative analyst, with salaries that can reach R$ 9,817.72.

Public Competition Details: Vacancies and Salaries

The announcement of the ICMBio competition reveals that there are 230 vacancies for environmental analysts and 120 for administrative analysts. Both positions require a bachelor’s degree in any field. The approved candidates will initially receive a base salary of R$ 8,817.72, plus a food allowance of R$ 1,000, totaling almost R$ 10,000. The work schedule will be 40 hours per week.

Inclusion and Accessibility: Quotas in the Competition

The competition guarantees 70 vacancies for black candidates and 24 for people with disabilities. The remaining 256 opportunities are for open competition, ensuring that everyone has a fair chance to participate.

Work Locations: Choose Where to Work

When applying, candidates must choose the location of interest. In addition to the ICMBio headquarters in Brasília, options include units in the North, Northeast, Central-West, Southeast, and South regions. The distribution of vacancies is as follows:

Environmental Analyst: Brasília (90 vacancies), North (50), Northeast (25), Central-West (25), Southeast (25), South (15).

Administrative Analyst: Brasília (70 vacancies), North (10), Northeast (10), Central-West (10), Southeast (10), South (10).

How to Participate: Applications and Important Dates

Applications are open until January 3, 2025, at 6 PM. Interested candidates must register on the website www.cebraspe.org.br. The fees are R$ 93 for administrative analyst and R$ 99 for environmental analyst. Exemptions can be requested by bone marrow donors and beneficiaries of CadÚnico until the last day of registration.

Preparation for the Exam: What to Study

The objective and written tests will be held on February 23, 2025 in all 27 state capitals of Brazil. Candidates should prepare for questions on Portuguese language, information technology, administrative law concepts, ethics in public service, legislation, and specific knowledge.
