Despite its large size and weight of 2,450 kg, the Seres 7 delivers great performance. The SUV is sold in two versions in China.
The rear-wheel drive version features a 272-horsepower electric motor, while the AWD variant (which will come to Brazil) includes an additional 177 hp motor in the front axle. The range of the versions reaches the promised 1,100 km per cycle with the addition of a 1.5 turbo gasoline engine, which has 122 horsepower and serves as a generator for the 88 kWh batteries of the large SUV.
Seres 7 Expected to Reach National Market for R$ 440 Thousand
Official data points to a total power of 455 horsepower and an immediate torque of 67.3 kgfm, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds. Impressive numbers for a large and very heavy SUV.
The technology package includes 27 sensors, which are responsible for enabling features such as collision prevention, emergency automatic braking, lane change alert, object detection on the roads, autonomous parking assistant, remote parking assistant, and parking assistance in tight spaces.
Prices, as well as the exact start of sales and deliveries of the Seres 7, have not yet been disclosed; however, the large SUV is expected to be priced above the Seres 5 EVR, which currently sells for R$ 440 thousand. Thus, it is not unreasonable to imagine that the newest rival of the Toyota SW4 will arrive here costing at least half a million reais.
