Rumo – the largest railway company in the country – is offering 24 job openings spread across Brazil, including the states of São Paulo, Paraná, Mato Grosso, among others. The openings are for analysts, operators, electricians, leaders, and more, thus there are positions for different levels of education. Electrician I

Prerequisites:

High School Diploma, technical course in electrical or related areas is a plus;
Basic Electricity course is mandatory;
Must possess a valid driver’s license (CNH-B). Experience in electrical work is desirable;
Must be available to work on-call.

Main Responsibilities:

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on signaling and railway safety assets, according to operational procedures;
Perform tasks that involve working at heights and with electricity;
Implement improvements and modifications on the assets under your responsibility;
Follow the safety regulations set forth in the Operational Regulations, ASTs, and other safety procedures;
Perform other activities related to the role in any location covered by Rumo.

Mechanic I

Prerequisites:

High School Diploma;
Availability to work on different shifts and schedules.

Some of the main responsibilities:

Perform mechanical maintenance tasks on locomotives, adhering to quality and safety standards;
Interpret and fill out Maintenance Orders;
Perform assembly and disassembly of equipment;
Monitor equipment in operation;
Interpret drawings of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems;
Replace components;
Lubricate equipment in general.

Control Room Operator

Prerequisites:

High School Diploma;
Experience with equipment operation (conveyor belts, machines);
Knowledge of safety guidelines;
Basic knowledge of Office Suite.

Main Responsibilities:

Tasks related to the control room;
Positioning and operation of terminal flow through the system;
Execution of security lockouts and directions.
