The Brazilian Service of Support for Micro and Small Enterprises (Sebrae) is offering various openings in free online courses in the areas of marketing, entrepreneurship, business management, and much more, which will be taught by chatbots via WhatsApp. So far, there have been over 3 million interactions in the 15 available workshops.

The free online courses from Sebrae via WhatsApp are divided into five themes:

- Planning and Management;
- Entrepreneur Profile;
- Opening, Closing, and Growth of the Business.
In total, there will be 28 free online courses via WhatsApp in the areas of entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and many others. During the free online courses, WhatsApp users will receive information about their learning progress.
If a student drops out of the course, Watson can identify and interact to encourage the user to pay attention to the content made available by Sebrae. Signing up for Sebrae’s courses is simple; just visit the institution’s website and click on the option “Courses via WhatsApp”. This will display all the courses offered by the institute.
Sebrae Software Architect Talks About the Evolution and Use of New Technologies in Learning
According to Ricardo Medeiros, software architect at Sebrae, the cloud native architecture is paid based on usage. Thus, cloud resources decrease or increase automatically according to demand, without performance loss, as computational resources can be adapted. He also states that it is a solution unlike any other.
The material for the free courses has been adapted by Sebrae’s business team, as well as leveraging technology. The videos and images are lightweight to optimize use for those on mobile data, making it even cheaper and minimizing costs for information transfers.
