Details of the Competition and Selection Process

The State Secretariat of Justice (Sejus) has already authorized the competition, which is currently in the planning phase.

According to Jornal Tempo Novo, the announcement is expected to be published soon, with registrations scheduled for March 2025. The working hours for the position are 40 hours per week.

The selection process will consist of several rigorous stages: objective test, essay, physical fitness test, psychological evaluation, health assessment, self-identification, social investigation, and a specific training course.

These stages aim to ensure that selected candidates are fully qualified to perform their duties.

In the last competition held by Sejus, 600 vacancies were also available for the position of penitentiary inspector, attracting more than 38,000 candidates.
