New 3D House For Sale In Brazil Promises To Be The Future Of Construction, Being Much Cheaper And Good Quality. Check Out How It Works.
A new type of residence is already for sale on the market. It is a house that does not require sand, plaster, or bricks, made solely with 3D printing. Despite the futuristic sensation that comes with this 3D house, it is much simpler than it appears and could be a great promise for the construction industry.
How Much Does The 3D House For Sale In Brazil Cost?
An innovative prototype of a 3D printed house is on display in the city of Nova Lima, Minas Gerais, complete with finishes, fixtures, and furniture. Developed by Cosmos 3D, in collaboration with the Katz Group, the construction technique used employs microconcrete structures, a material chosen for its strength, cost-effectiveness, and durability.
The first 3D house sold in Brazil, sold for R$ 120 thousand, will be built in the Costa do Descobrimento region of Bahia. This 57m² residence includes a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and two bedrooms, offering flexibility for configuration as a bedroom and an office.

With 55 floors, 177 meters in height, a 15-meter walkway between the twin towers, ventilated facade, and 6,300 m² of leisure space, Ápice Towers already has one tower completed and another nearly at the top.
The 3D printer responsible for creating this pioneering house weighs approximately three tons. Thanks to the advanced technology, the construction process is controlled by software or robots, minimizing material waste and ensuring detailed finishing.
For the construction of the first 3D house available for sale in Brazil, only eight days were needed – four for printing, two for assembly, and two more dedicated to finishes and decoration. Despite the printing technology, Katz emphasizes that the structure still requires an adequate foundation.
What Are The Requirements For The Construction Of The 3D House For Sale In Brazil?
Regardless of the type of civil construction being carried out, with new or old technologies and techniques, all projects must follow the legal and civil engineering determinations, and the architectural project must also be approved by the city hall.
Another requirement that remains is that of the technical supervisor, the one who will execute the civil construction project. Both the supervisor and the company promoting the work must be duly qualified.
In any construction, it is necessary to carry out the hydrosanitary project, which will show the entire distribution of water and sewage on-site, the foundation, which ensures the stability of the construction, as well as the architectural and electrical parts.
According to Daniel Katz, president of the Katz Group and co-founder of Cosmos 3D, the company is developing a project for a building of up to 5 floors for affordable housing. The printer offers endless possibilities for execution, for the most diverse projects, which provides extreme flexibility of ideas for clients both for printing houses and for furniture and similar items.
Elon Musk Develops Similar Initiative
In addition to this 3D house for sale in Brazil, Elon Musk has partnered with Boxabl, an American company specializing in sustainable and affordable prefabricated houses. This move could be a game changer in the construction market.
Musk’s company, however, introduced a revolutionary concept with its ‘battery-powered house’, standing out for its sustainable design and potential to transform the future of civil construction.
Boxabl launched a different and innovative way to build houses, and this could change the real estate market and the way residential constructions are viewed. We have a good understanding of what Elon Musk is capable of doing in his ventures, and this company, which he has become an ambassador for, with a sustainable battery-powered house costing US$ 10,000, does not disappoint.
