Senac’s Commitment to Gender Equality
According to the manager of Social Programs and Projects at Senac-ES, Romulo Gomes, the initiative goes beyond training, serving as a catalyst for gender equity in a strategic area like Information Technology.
The regional director of Senac-ES, Richardson Schmittel, emphasizes the program’s purpose of helping more women obtain opportunities in this sector, noting that there is still a lack of prepared professionals and more women occupying this space. In 2022, the program trained around 70 women, demonstrating its positive impact on the formation of qualified professionals. Classes are conducted through the Senac Free Program (PSG), reinforcing the institution’s commitment to inclusion and diversity in the job market.
