Senac has 211 slots open for the IT course in the Young Programmer Program, exclusively for women. The opportunities are available at the units in Vitória, Serra, Vila Velha, Colatina, Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, São Mateus, Linhares, and Venda Nova do Imigrante.

Benefits and Certification in the IT Course at Senac

In addition to being free, the IT course program offers an innovative and collaborative methodology. Participants will receive a certificate recognized by the market, increased women’s engagement in technology, self-esteem, and student assistance (transportation and meals). Female students who complete the IT course will have access to Senac’s Opportunity Bank, which connects professionals trained by the institution with partner companies in search of qualified professionals.

Requirements and Enrollment in the IT Course at Senac

The IT training is free and aimed at women aged 16 to 29, who are in their second year of high school and have a per capita income of up to two minimum wages. Classes are held in person at one of the institution’s units, with a total workload of 308 hours.

The start of the IT course will depend on the unit chosen by the student at the time of expressing interest, which can be done through an online form BY CLICKING HERE. Senac’s Commitment to Gender Equality

According to the manager of Social Programs and Projects at Senac-ES, Romulo Gomes, the initiative goes beyond training, serving as a catalyst for gender equity in a strategic area like Information Technology.

The regional director of Senac-ES, Richardson Schmittel, emphasizes the program’s purpose of helping more women obtain opportunities in this sector, noting that there is still a lack of prepared professionals and more women occupying this space. In 2022, the program trained around 70 women, demonstrating its positive impact on the formation of qualified professionals. Classes are conducted through the Senac Free Program (PSG), reinforcing the institution’s commitment to inclusion and diversity in the job market.
