The National Rural Learning Service (Senar/SC) Presented This Week Its Strategic Map, Which Includes Priorities in Institutional Relations and in the Area of Learning and Growth for Rural Producers in Santa Catarina. The Document Was Approved by the Administrative Council of Senar/SC, Which Is Led by José Zeferino Pedrozo, and Received Support from Sebrae/SC.

According to the Strategic Map, the main priorities of Senar/SC for rural producers in Santa Catarina over the next three years are: attracting, selecting, and training the technical team and support; technical assistance; social promotion of people in the rural environment; professional education; sustainable and innovative agricultural production; in addition to institutional relations with rural producers and partners.

During the meeting held at the entity’s headquarters this week, Nilmar Paul, an accredited consultant from Sebrae/SC, clarified that Senar/SC has been working for about 30 years in favor of those in the countryside. “Our vision is to be a reference as an excellent institution that contributes to ensuring that rural producers and workers set examples in sustainable and innovative agricultural production,” he stated.

For Gilson Angnes, administrative and financial advisor of Senar/SC, the development of this strategic plan was extremely important for defining clear short, medium, and long-term goals. “It is essential to draw up an action plan to ensure higher quality in the activities developed by the entity,” Angnes said.

The Strategic Map is an essential tool to guide the development of Senar/SC’s initiatives in the coming years. With it, it will be possible to promote the growth of family farmers in Santa Catarina through the sustainable development of agricultural production.

Senar/SC is an entity that seeks to expand partnerships with the S System and governmental entities, improve communication channels with rural producers in Santa Catarina, strengthen partnerships with rural unions, and offer services and actions in Social Promotion (PS), Rural Professional Training (FPR), and Technical and Managerial Assistance (ATeG) to promote rural development.

According to the President of the Administrative Council of Senar/SC and Faesc, José Zeferino Pedrozo, Senar/SC Has Provided the Professional Growth of Rural Producers in Santa Catarina Through the Provision of Free Services That Give Them Access to Science and Knowledge.

To improve the performance of the services provided by Senar/SC, internal priorities were established to accelerate the digital transformation in operational processes; update the code of conduct and institutional standardization; implement satisfaction and impact indicators for the services provided; in addition to promoting innovation. Through these initiatives, activities related to the attraction, selection, and training of the technical and support team were reinforced.

With well-defined strategies to promote the development of rural residents, Senar/SC has enabled thousands of rural producers in Santa Catarina to benefit from this work in favor of the rural environment. These initiatives have contributed to improving the quality of life for these workers, generating an increase in the income of the rural property. In addition, they also enable greater access to technology and innovations in agricultural fields.

According to the superintendent of Senar/SC, Gilmar Antônio Zanluchi, the results obtained by the entity demonstrate its ability to interact with all the regions of Santa Catarina and provide education tailored to the needs of the agricultural universe. The organization’s commitment to offering free education reflects its fundamental values: ethics, transparency, sustainability, innovation, and social responsibility.

These priorities represent a significant step towards reducing socioeconomic inequalities in the Brazilian countryside. Thus, rural producers in Santa Catarina can have better conditions to pursue successful professional careers and contribute to the growth of national agriculture.
