The National Rural Learning Service (Senar/SC) presented this week its Strategic Map, which includes priorities in institutional relations and in the area of learning and growth for rural producers in Santa Catarina. The document was approved by the Administrative Council of Senar/SC, whose president is José Zeferino Pedrozo, and had the support of Sebrae/SC.
According to the Strategic Map, Senar/SC's main priorities for Santa Catarina rural producers in the next three years are: attracting, selecting and training the technical and support team; technical assistance; social promotion of rural people; professional education; sustainable and innovative agricultural production; in addition to institutional relations with farmers and partners.
During the meeting held at the entity's headquarters this week, Nilmar Paul, accredited consultant for the Sebrae/SC, clarified that Senar/SC has been working in favor of rural men for about 30 years. “Our vision is to be a reference as an institution of excellence that helps rural producers and workers to be examples of sustainable and innovative agricultural production,” she said.
For Gilson Angnes, administrative and financial advisor at Senar/SC, the elaboration of this strategic plan was extremely important to define clear goals in the short, medium and long terms. “It is fundamental to draw up an action plan to guarantee more quality to the activities developed by the entity”, said Angnes.

- Fines will be issued freely! Drivers should be on alert, as new radars on Brazilian highways represent a new milestone in traffic control in Brazil
- Mobility plan for major Brazilian city will benefit 150 people per day, but there is a problem: more than a THOUSAND trees will be destroyed and this has been keeping residents awake at night
- Billion-dollar investment and 30 THOUSAND jobs! Northeast ready for radical transformation with colossal investment of MORE than R$522 BILLION that promises to change the region's status in the Brazilian economy
The Strategic Map is an essential tool to guide the development of Senar/SC's initiatives in the coming years. With it, it will be possible to promote the growth of family farmers in Santa Catarina through the sustainable development of the Agricultural production.
Senar/SC is an entity that seeks to expand partnerships with the S System and government entities, improve communication channels with farmers from Santa Catarina, reinforce partnerships with Rural Unions, offer services and actions of Social Promotion (PS), Rural Professional Training (FPR) and Technical and Managerial Assistance (ATeG) to promote the development of the rural environment.
According to the president of the Administrative Council of Senar/SC and Faesc, José Zeferino Pedrozo, Senar/SC has provided professional growth for rural producers in Santa Catarina by providing free services that give them access to science and knowledge.
To improve the performance of the services provided by Senar/SC, internal priorities were established to accelerate the digital transformation of operational processes; update the code of conduct and institutional standardization; implement indicators of satisfaction and impact of the services provided; as well as promoting innovation. Through these initiatives, the attraction, selection and training activities of the technical and support team were reinforced.
With well-defined strategies to promote the development of rural residents, Senar/SC has allowed thousands of Santa Catarina rural producers benefit from this work in favor of the rural environment. These initiatives have contributed to improving the quality of life of these workers, generating a boost in the income of the Rural property. In addition, they also provide greater access to technology and innovations in the agricultural field.
According to the superintendent of Senar/SC, Gilmar Antônio Zanluchi, the results obtained by the entity denote its ability to interact with all regions of Santa Catarina and offer adequate education to the needs of the agricultural universe. The organization's commitment to providing free education reflects its fundamental values: ethics, transparency, sustainability, innovation and social responsibility.
These priorities represent a big step towards reducing socioeconomic inequalities in rural Brazil. With that, the Santa Catarina rural producers may be better able to pursue successful professional careers and contribute to the growth of national agriculture.
