Stages of opening the megaproject
The forecast is that the park will have a pre-opening between the end of 2027 and mid-2028, before the official opening scheduled for 2030.
In March, the project was opened for public consultation, a significant advancement for the development of the multimillion-dollar complex.
Visitor goal
In the first phase, the expectation is to attract between 700,000 and 800,000 visitors per year to the new park.
In the long term, with the opening of new attractions, the goal is to exceed one million visitors annually, expanding the presence of chocolate as the central axis of the tourist proposal.
Local impact of the megaproject
The project also anticipates the creation of around 300 jobs in the region, with a direct impact on the local economy.
Representatives of Cailler state that the initiative will also promote the region globally as the “Capital of Swiss Chocolate,” strengthening Broc as a destination linked to the sector and tourism.
