Efficiency in Operations, Cost Reduction, and Operator Health Risk Mitigation Are Among the Advantages of the Equipment Model
Job creation, resources, and development make the industry one of the largest producers of pollutants and waste. Companies that adopt sustainable practices in their operations stand out from competitors with a competitive edge, responsibility, and innovation.
Within the global trend of reshaping production processes, aligned with the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) concept, the adoption of equipment and technological solutions to reduce gas and pollutant emissions is essential for industries.
As a key piece of equipment in a logistics project for providing agility in the transportation/storage of goods, optimizing time and improving space, forklifts have also evolved into more sustainable models, such as electric ones, which are powered by rechargeable batteries and do not emit pollutant gases.

In the forklift market for 29 years, Imparpec, a company based in Campinas (SP), rents out combustion and electric equipment, utilizing Softrack technology for embedded telematics, enhancing their performance. With ten years of partnership, Imparpec currently rents forklifts to five different companies, using Softrack technology for fleet management based on telematics.
Fernando Santos, operational manager at Imparpec, highlights the advantages of electric forklifts. “Electric forklifts do not emit pollutant gases into the atmosphere and, therefore, are more environmentally friendly and sustainable. Moreover, they produce less noise pollution, can be specially prepared for operation in refrigeration facilities, and require lower maintenance costs,” he pointed out.
He also emphasizes the advantage of Softrack technology in this forklift model. “With the embedded technology, our management of costs, time, and optimization becomes much more precise. Additionally, the safety that the technology provides for operators and renters is noteworthy,” he observes.

Used by major companies in the automotive, heavy machinery, steel, food, chemical, pharmaceutical, port, distribution center, and general retail sectors, Softrack technology optimizes the management of forklift fleets based on telematics. The system consists of cloud solutions and electronic equipment installed directly on vehicles, allowing the company to reduce management costs of forklifts by over 25%, increase the lifespan of machines, enhance workplace safety through electronic checklists, and ensure transparency in operations.
“With our technology, we aim to continue contributing to the reduction of toxic gas emissions through better resource management, as well as greater well-being that is directly linked to forklift operations through the continuous increase of workplace safety,” emphasizes Menotti Franceschini, CEO of Softrack.
