Graduates from Rio de Janeiro in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Engineering, or graduates in the area of Safety and Environment may be applying for offshore positions at Teekay today

Teekay Offshore, which has offices in Rio de Janeiro and the city of Macaé, is looking for qualified engineers with extensive experience in production units (FPSO). The requirements are quite strict and with well-established criteria for activities in RJ, but at least they are for permanent contracts. Below are the details of the job descriptions:

Integrity Engineers

Must be graduated in Mechanical or Naval Engineering with an active CREA
You should have at least 5 years or more of relevant experience in oil and gas / other industrial plants. FPSO experience will be positively valued
Specialized knowledge of applicable legislation and experience with RBI activities
Experience with SPIE will be an advantage
Organized, systematic, and independent approach. Self-starter and proactive
Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and Portuguese, both verbal and written

HSE Professional or Compliance Leader

Graduated in Engineering with a specialization in Environmental or Safety and hold a CREA registration for Brazil.
Being certified in ISM, ISPS, OHSAS 18001 / ISO45001, ISO 14001, and CSO (Company Security Officer) will be a plus
Must have at least five years or more of relevant experience in oil and gas or transportation. Offshore experience will be positively valued
Specialized knowledge of local offshore legislation and ensures compliance in all regional operations
Experience with Synergi, or other similar tools for HSEQ Management in the offshore industry is desirable
Organized, systematic, and independent approach. Self-starter, proactive, able to lead interdisciplinary multifunctional groups
Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and Portuguese, both verbal and written
Must be flexible for travel
