What the Course Offers
The curriculum proposal connects neuroscience, cognition, and pedagogical practices, with an emphasis on direct applications in the school environment.
The program delves into cognitive processes that impact learning, such as attention, memory, and language, and discusses the relationship between emotion and learning.
In addition to the theoretical foundation, the course encourages the use of evidence-based teaching strategies, with participation from experienced teachers and researchers in studies that connect science and education.
Who Benefits from the Specialization
Although particularly relevant for basic education teachers, the specialization also serves professionals from related fields, such as psychology, pedagogy, speech therapy, and health.
The program is interdisciplinary and requires the development of a final project that articulates theory and practice as a prerequisite for obtaining the specialist title.
