UNESP Launches Transformative Public Notice with 175 Positions for EAD Tutors, Offering Remote Work and Impact on Inclusive Education. With a 4-Hour Daily Shift and a Scholarship of R$ 1,100, the Initiative Aims to Change the Brazilian Educational Landscape. Applications Are Open Until January 2025. Join This Revolution in Distance Learning!

Few opportunities are as impactful as transforming the lives of thousands of students, especially when this can be done from the comfort of your home.

UNESP has launched an innovative public notice with 175 positions for tutors in extension courses in the EAD modality.

The initiative aims not only to strengthen distance education but also promises to transform the Brazilian educational landscape, focusing on inclusion and quality.

Behind this project is public notice 010/2024, which seeks to meet the demands of two fundamental extension courses: Quilombola Education and Special Education.

With specific vacancies for each area, the university hopes to train professionals and expand the reach of more inclusive and accessible education.

The selection process is already underway and promises to choose the most qualified candidates.

A Mission That Goes Beyond Traditional Teaching

UNESP, recognized for its role in higher education, once again embraces the responsibility of transforming education in Brazil.

The institution offers 3,750 positions in the Quilombola Education course and 5,000 positions in the Special Education course, with tutors playing a central role in this process.

According to the public notice, the ratio of one tutor for every 50 active students has been established to ensure personalized and efficient support. This translates to up to 175 tutors hired to meet the needs of these courses.

The vacancies are divided into two main roles:

Distance Tutor for Training in Teaching and Management of Ethnic-Racial and Quilombola Relationships:

  • Available positions: 75
  • Requirements: Degree in pedagogy or related areas to ethnic-racial interactions. Improvement, specialization, or postgraduate education in the area is required.

Distance Tutor for Special Education from the Perspective of Inclusive Education:

  • Available positions: 100
  • Requirements: Degree in pedagogy, special education, or a teaching degree in any field, in addition to specialization or postgraduate education focused on inclusive education or related areas.

With a 20-hour weekly shift, tutors will receive a scholarship of R$ 1,100, funded by Capes UAB.

Although the amount is modest, it reflects the commitment to educational inclusion and the appreciation of teaching work.

Quilombola Education: A Pillar of Inclusion

The Quilombola Education course is an important milestone for training educators who will work directly in traditional communities.

According to UNESP, the goal is to prepare professionals who understand the cultural and historical specificities of these populations, ensuring an educational approach that respects and values their identities.

Tutors in this area will be tasked with helping students develop skills aligned with the reality of quilombola communities.

This includes creating pedagogical projects that promote equity and recognition of these communities’ contributions to Brazilian history and culture.

Special Education: Inclusion as a Priority

On the other hand, the Special Education course directly addresses the inclusion of students with specific needs in the school environment.

According to the public notice, an inclusive perspective is fundamental to ensure that all students have access to quality education, regardless of their conditions.

Tutors in this course will play a crucial role in training professionals capable of addressing various educational demands, promoting accessibility and equal opportunities.

Rigorous Selection Process

To ensure that the best candidates are selected, UNESP has structured a selection process in three stages: curriculum analysis, written exam, and interview.

This approach aims to identify professionals aligned with the objectives of the courses and committed to the proposed educational mission.

According to the institution, candidates must demonstrate not only solid academic training but also a broad perspective on the challenges and possibilities of inclusive education.

This reinforces UNESP’s commitment to the quality and effectiveness of the program.

How to Apply

Those interested in participating in this project have until January 6, 2025, to register. The process is done exclusively online at UNESP’s official website, where the complete public notice and the registration form are available.

This is a unique opportunity for education professionals who wish to contribute to transforming education in Brazil.

With a robust structure and a clear mission, the Quilombola Education and Special Education courses are set to positively impact the lives of thousands of students.

Would you be willing to embrace this mission and transform lives through distance education? Leave your thoughts in the comments!

Desvalorização gigantesca do docente profissional com a importância tão grande de transformar a educação. Só uma bolsa de 1.100 ??? Absurdo!!!
