Trident Energy explained that the main objective was to remove two valves, allowing further integrity tasks to be carried out and bringing a greater overall result in terms of submarine integrity and return-to-production potential (RTP).
As a result, the saturation diving operation in the region may increase offshore production from the Pampo and Enchova fields by up to 4,000 bpd. The campaign marks further investments by the energy company in the pursuit of operational improvements in Brazil.
The execution of the company’s campaign involved the participation of a diving support vessel (DSV), DOF Skandi Achiever, and a Brazilian diving company, SISTAC, which provided the saturation divers.
According to Trident Energy, the health, safety, and environmental departments of its staff participated in the campaign in the Basin of Campos. Thus, it was able to ensure a good quality of operation for the divers.
Saturation Diving Campaign Involved 28 Total Dives Due to the Complexity of the Operation
Trident Energy highlighted that the realization of the saturation diving campaign in the Basin of Campos required a high investment in mobilization and safety.

It also stated that all operations were successfully completed within the stipulated period, including over 150 hours of diving and a total of 28 successful activities.
