Uber Is Offering Hundreds Of Job Openings For Technology Professionals. The Home Office Positions Focus On Software Engineers, Managers, Production Engineers, And Many Others

On Friday (13), Uber announced the opening of new job positions with the goal of doubling its technology team in the country this year. Thus, the company has 100 new home office positions for the engineering sector. Uber claims that the intention is to expand the IT team to 250 professionals by the end of this year. It is important to emphasize that hired professionals can choose to work entirely remotely, however some positions require them to be onsite at the company headquarters in Osasco. The new hires will be responsible for developing tools that can be used in the country and worldwide.

According to Pamela Chusyd, recruitment manager at Uber in Latin America, the goal is to create home office positions for professionals of various educational levels and profiles from all parts of the country, generating creative and innovative solutions.

So far, Uber has invested approximately US$ 250 million in hiring around 100 specialists for the company’s technology development center, which encompasses six IT areas.
