Through the Language Culture Center of UFMA (NCL/UFMA), the Extension and Cultural Pro-Rectory is offering several openings for online courses in the EAD modality for the Maranhão community. A total of about 200 openings will be made available for interested residents in the São Luís region – MA.

Announcement for the Online Courses at UFMA

The announcement released this June foresees more than 200 openings for courses in English, Spanish, French, and Libras. It is important to note that, although the courses are fully online, there is a cost for the teaching material and enrollment, which are paid semesterly.

How to Enroll in the EAD Courses at UFMA?

Registrations will be open from June 7th to July 3rd, 2021, with classes scheduled to start on July 5th. Registrations can be made in person; however, it will be necessary to schedule through the email: nclagendamento@gmail.com. After scheduling, it will be necessary to go to the Language Culture Center, located at Praça Gonçalves Dias, No. 66, in the city center.

The available hours are from 8 AM to 12 PM and 2 PM to 6 PM on weekdays. On Saturdays, the hours are from 8 AM to 11 AM. During the in-person registration process, the following information will be needed: CPF, ID, proof of payment of the semester fee, and also the presentation of the teaching material or proof of purchase of the same.

To enroll in the online EAD courses at UFMA, simply send an email to matriculasncl@gmail.com with the following information: Full Name, CPF, Photo of the document (ID and CPF), course, and desired time.

EAD Courses, but with One-Time Semester Fees

The one-time semester fees for the courses offered by UFMA in the EAD modality for new students and graduates of the Extension Project for Foreign Language Courses will be R$ 350.00.

The fees should be paid through GRU (Guidance for Uniform Collection) at branches of Banco do Brasil. The guides will be provided to students at the time of pre-registration.

It is important to emphasize that the fee does not include the teaching material and its acquisition is mandatory, being the responsibility of the student. The material for the courses may not be used by more than one student.

Value: R$ 350.00 (three hundred and fifty reais) for returning and new students.
Value: R$ 250.00 (two hundred and fifty reais) for repeating students from the semester 2021.1.
