More Than 3,000 Openings in Free Online Courses Offered by the City Hall of PE
Students from state schools in PE can apply for 3,794 openings in free courses of English, Spanish, and French offered by the Department of Education and Sports (SEE). Applications are open until this Wednesday (10). If there are any vacancies left after this date, they will be offered to the general public. In this case, those who are not students in the state network should register only on Thursday (11). Classes will start the week after Carnival.

The free courses are being offered at different levels, ranging from Basic 1 to Advanced, depending on each center (school of the network offering the language). Applicants must attach the following documents when filling out the form: ID, CPF, proof of residency, and, if a student, a declaration from the school/institution where they study.
Then, the NEL coordination will contact the applicants of the free courses to confirm enrollment. Those who are unable to register online can contact the educational unit by phone to schedule the procedure in person.

The slots for the remaining free courses will be available at the educational units offering the courses on February 12. Classes will begin on the 22nd for Monday and Wednesday groups, and on the 23rd for Tuesday and Friday groups.

To avoid crowds, this semester registrations will be conducted through electronic forms available on the website of the Department of Education and Sports. The languages are English, Spanish, and French. Classes will start on February 22 and 23 in remote format.
