UFPB Is Offering Hundreds Of Places In Free Technical Courses For Candidates Who Have Already Completed High School. The Opportunities Are Targeted At The Health Sector Such As Clinical Analysis, Dental Prosthesis And Community Health Agent.

The Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), through the Professional and Technological Center – Technical School of Health (ETS), is open for enrollment for 100 places in free technical courses for community health agent, dental prosthesis, and clinical analysis. The courses are aimed at students who have already completed high school. Enrollment is free and can be done between December 9 and 18.

Check Below The Specifications Of Each Of The Free Technical Courses Offered By UFPB

Half of the places in the free courses are reserved for candidates who have completed high school in public schools. Additionally, there will be reservations for self-declared black, indigenous, and brown candidates with a gross family income equal to or less than one minimum wage per person. Community Health Agent

In this course, students will learn to actively work on disease prevention and health promotion in a specific community, acting as a bridge between vulnerable individuals and social health programs.

Among the available content are: how SUS works, Health Services, Health Promotion Actions, History of the Family Health Program, Social Control in SUS, Responsibilities of the Community Health Agent, Home Visits, Morality and Ethics in Public Service.

Clinical Analysis

This course prepares the student to diagnose various types of diseases through detailed analyses within the laboratory.

The professional may also be responsible for blood collection at the time of testing, possessing the knowledge and skills to perform laboratory tests, conduct various specific exams according to medical demand, among others.

Dental Prosthesis

Those who work in this area collaborate with dentists to create various types of prosthetics: from orthodontic devices to fixed and removable bridges, such as crowns and dentures.

In this free course, you will cover content such as: what professionals in this field do, various places to exercise the profession, how the job market is, what technical professionals in dental prosthesis earn, among other topics.

Complete Your Enrollment In The Free Technical Courses Of UFPB

Candidates must complete the enrollment exclusively through the Integrated Management System for Academic Activities (Sigaa). It will be necessary to fill out a form with full name, level of education, CPF, date of birth, RG, email, among others.

The Professional and Technological Center – Technical School of Health will provide computers on its premises for candidates who do not have access to the internet to complete their registrations. Access this link to complete your enrollment in the free health area courses.

Understand How The Selection Process Will Happen

To compete in the selection process, interested candidates can use the grades they obtained in the 3rd year of high school in the subjects of Portuguese, Biology, and Mathematics; grades from the National High School Exam (Enem) from the years 2010 to 2022 are valid, or grades obtained from the National Certification of Youth and Adult Competencies Exam (ENCCEJA).

Only one of these entry methods can be used. At the time of enrollment, interested candidates must attach, in a PDF format, documents such as RG and CPF, school history or equivalent, signed and stamped by the institution or with a digital certification from the educational institution, and documentation required in cases of reservation of places.
