With that in mind, the Maranhão State University (UEMA) is launching an excellent opportunity for those who work or are interested in working in school management.

The institution announced the opening of 570 spots for a graduate program in educational management, free of charge and in EAD format, focusing on training specialists in one of the most important areas of public education.

Graduate Program in Educational Management: Strategic and Flexible Training

The course offered by UEMA lasts 18 months and has a total workload of 420 hours.

During this period, students will take 13 essential subjects for training in educational management.

Additionally, it will be necessary to prepare a Course Conclusion Paper (TCC), which will help in the practical application of the knowledge acquired.

The difference of this course is that it will be offered in a blended format, meaning students will have the flexibility to study remotely but will also attend in-person meetings on weekends.

These meetings will take place at centers distributed across various regions of Maranhão, providing a complete learning experience.

The blended model is ideal for those looking to balance studies with work, without compromising the quality of education.

Specialization in School Management: Spots Distributed Across Centers in Maranhão

The course has 570 spots available, which will be distributed across 19 support centers in Maranhão, allowing professionals from different cities to access the training.

The centers include cities such as:

São Luís (capital)
Apicum-açu
Anapurus
Balsas
Barreirinhas
In addition to 14 other centers in various regions of the state

This distribution is essential to ensure that educators from different locations can benefit from the course,
promoting the decentralization of higher education and making education more accessible.

Who Can Enroll in the Specialization?

This specialization is primarily intended for licensed professionals who work directly in school management or in public educational spheres, whether at the municipal, state, or federal level.
To enroll, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Hold a recognized undergraduate degree in Education.

Demonstrate experience or engagement in educational management or areas related to public education.

Have internet access and know how to use technological tools, which are essential for following EAD classes.

Be available to attend in-person meetings on weekends, held at UEMA centers.

Reside in any municipality in the state of Maranhão.

These requirements aim to ensure that course participants possess the appropriate profile to make the most of the training, in addition to ensuring the quality and impact of the specialization on the educational realities of Maranhão.

The enrollment for the selection process is already open and can be done exclusively online until March 20, 2025.
