The Free Professional Training Courses Offered by UFV Will Be Open Until Next July 12, Next Monday

UFV – Federal University of Viçosa, recognized by the MEC as the 7th best university in Brazil, currently offers 52 free online professional training courses. The university, through the Central Institute of Education and Agricultural Development of Florestal (Cedaf), is offering completely free Initial and Continuing Education (FIC) courses, part of the New Paths Program 2021, with a duration of 16 weeks. Administrative Assistant – Details of this Free Professional Training Course option: 160h; Minimum Education: Complete Elementary School II (6th to 9th grade); Professional Profile: Executes administrative processes and support activities in human resources, finance, production, logistics, and sales. Serves suppliers and customers. Provides and receives information about products and services. Handles various documents. Minimum Age: 15 years.

Accounting Assistant – Details of this Free Professional Training Course option: 160h; Minimum Education: Complete Elementary School II (6th to 9th grade); Professional Profile: Executes, codes, and classifies accounting records and entries. Performs accounting reconciliations, payments, audits of tax books and tax returns. Prepares trial balances, balance sheets, and financial statements, payroll, and terminations. Controls chart of accounts, calculates the costs of assets, labor, social security, and tax liabilities, fees, and taxes and determines financial results. Minimum Age: 16 years.

Logistics Assistant – Details of this Free Professional Training Course option: 160h; Minimum Education: Incomplete High School; Professional Profile: Assists in implementing logistics procedures, receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and distributing materials and products. Collaborates in controlling logistics operations from a multimodal perspective. Minimum Age: 15 years.

Topography Draftsman – Details of this Free Professional Training Course option: Minimum Education: Complete Elementary School II (6th to 9th grade); Professional Profile: Creates topographic drawings for application in architecture and engineering using graphic software. Analyzes drawing requests. Interprets supporting documents (plans, projects, catalogs, sketches, and standards). Defines formats, scales, and representation systems according to technical standards. Draws details. Minimum Age: 15 years.

Mechanical Draftsman – Details of this Free Professional Training Course option: 160h; Minimum Education: Complete Elementary School II (6th to 9th grade); Professional Profile: Prepares and details drawings of mechanical parts and assemblies using CAD (computer-aided design) tools, following technical standards. Minimum Age: 15 years.

Electrician of Renewable Energy Systems – Details of this Free Professional Training Course option: 200h; Minimum Education: Complete Elementary School I (1st to 5th grade); Professional Profile: Analyzes, quantifies, and performs installation, repair, and electrical maintenance of residential and commercial energy generation systems through photovoltaic solar panels and/or small wind turbines.
