Enrollment Is Open Until May 11, 2025, And The Selection Process Will Be Conducted Through Curriculum Analysis.
The program lasts for 18 months and is exclusively aimed at licensed teachers who work in classrooms.
Free Course Is Aimed At Basic Education Teachers
The specialization Offers A Practical And Updated Approach To Science Teaching In The Final Years Of Elementary School, Focusing On The Innovation Of Pedagogical Methodologies.
With A Total Workload Of 480 Hours, The Course Is Divided Into Theoretical And Practical Modules, Including The Requirement Of A Final Course Project (TCC).
Although The Course Is Mostly Online, There Are Mandatory In-Person Meetings At Support Centers, Allowing For More Direct Interaction Between Teachers And Students, As Well As Contact With Regional Educational Realities.

The 160 Spots For The Specialization Are Distributed Among The Following Municipalities:
- Porto Alegre: 100 spots
- Passo Fundo: 30 spots
- Imbé, Gramado And Santana Do Livramento: 10 spots Each

According To The Announcement, Licensed Teachers In The Areas Of Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Or Related Fields, With A Diploma Recognized By MEC, Currently Working As Teachers, Preferably In The Public Education System, Can Apply.
It Is Mandatory To Prove Classroom Experience, In Addition To Having Access To A Computer With Internet To Follow The Online Activities.
The Candidate Must Also Indicate One Of The Available In-Person Centers, Where They Will Need To Attend Periodically Throughout The Course.
