Brazilian Students And Other Nationalities Can Apply To Universities In Canada, USA And UK For Undergraduate, Masters And Doctorate

Studying in Canada, the USA, and the UK is the dream of many students who want to venture out and seek life and career opportunities outside their home country. Typically, students achieve this feat through exchange programs or scholarships. However, with the global coronavirus pandemic, exchange rates significantly dropped, and scholarship tests were postponed or even canceled. Nevertheless, with the increasing stability in the world regarding the virus transmission rate, along with vaccination plans, various universities worldwide have resumed activities and are willing to welcome students from other nationalities once again.

Applications Open For Scholarships At Universities In Canada, USA And UK

Various universities abroad are currently accepting applications for scholarships aimed at those who want to study outside Brazil and enrich their resumes with international experience. These are great opportunities for Portuguese-speaking students looking for undergraduate, masters, or even doctorate programs.

Scholarships In Canada

The University of Toronto has opened applications for 37 students who wish to graduate in Canada. These are the ‘Lester B. Pearson’ scholarships, covering all tuition fees, as well as assistance for books, emergencies, and a fixed residence for four years.

Scholarships In The USA

The University of Miami in the USA has been offering full scholarships for the “Stamps Scholarships”, a program aimed at international students seeking undergraduate courses. All expenses, program fees, housing, meals, health insurance, and other allowances are fully covered in the program.

Applications will close on November 1. The University of Boston (Massachusetts, USA) has decided to open a selection process to award 20 full scholarships for the undergraduate program.

Prerequisites for applying include academic merit and school records, along with other selection criteria, such as high school completion certificate, English proficiency tests (such as TOEFL and IELTS), and a valid passport. Applications will close on December 1.

Scholarships In The UK

The University of Oxford has opened selections for scholarship programs for students from countries in emergency status who wish to undertake undergraduate and masters courses.

For undergraduate studies, the Reach Oxford Scholarship will cover tuition costs and other university fees throughout the duration of the chosen course, in addition to covering round-trip airfare per year.

Further information is available on the university’s website, and applications will close at the end of February 2022. For the master’s programs, the Clarendon will offer 130 full scholarships and financial assistance based on the student’s ability to support themselves financially. Applications will close in January 2022.
