Brazilian students and other nationalities will be able to enter universities in Canada, the USA and the United Kingdom for undergraduate, master's and doctoral degrees
Studying in Canada, the USA and the UK is the dream of most students who want to venture out, trying a life and career outside their home country. Generally, students achieve this feat through exchange programs or scholarships. With the global coronavirus pandemic, exchange rates have dropped a lot and scholarship tests have been postponed or even cancelled. However, with the growing stability of the world regarding the transmission rate of the virus, in addition to the immunization plan, several universities around the world have resumed activities and are willing to receive students from other nationalities again.

Several universities abroad are accepting applications for scholarships for those who want to study outside Brazil and enrich their curriculum with an experience on international soil. These are great opportunities for Portuguese-speaking students who want a bachelor’s, master’s or even doctoral degree.
Canada scholarships
The University of Toronto has opened enrollment for 37 students wishing to pursue a degree in Canada. These are 'Lester B. Pearson' scholarships, with all tuition costs included, plus book allowance, emergency allowance, and a fixed residence for four years.
Applications for scholarships at the University of Toronto, Canada, are open until November 30 of this year, and further information is available on the university's website.
US scholarships
The University of Miami, USA, has offered full scholarships for the “Stamps Scholarships”, a program that is being aimed at international students who are looking for undergraduate courses. All expenses, program fees, housing, food, health insurance and other allowances are fully included in the program.
Applications will close on November 1st. Boston University (Massachusetts, USA) decided to open a selection process to choose 20 full scholarships for the undergraduate program.
Prerequisites to apply are academic merit and school record, in addition to other selection criteria, such as high school leaving certificate, English proficiency tests (such as TOEFL and IELTS) and up-to-date passport. Applications close on December 1st.

UK scholarships
The University of Oxford has opened selection for scholarship programs for students from countries in a state of emergency who want to pursue an undergraduate and master's degree.
Regarding graduation, the Reach Oxford Scholarship will cover tuition costs and other university fees throughout the period of the course chosen by the student, in addition to paying for round trip airfare, per year.
More information is available on the university's website, and registration closes at the end of February 2022. For master's programs, Clarendon will offer 130 full scholarships and a living allowance based on the student's ability to support themselves financially. Applications run until January 2022.
