The Plant Is Offering Job Opportunities for Interns, Operators, Mechanics, Electricians, Among Others, in Three Municipalities in Minas Gerais

The Coruripe Plant, with units in the states of Alagoas and Minas Gerais, is offering 21 job openings at the high school, technical, and undergraduate levels in the municipalities of Campo Florido, Iturama, and Carneirinho, in Minas Gerais. The plant is a leader in the production of ethanol, sugar, and electric energy in Brazil.

About the Company:

The plant has five units, one in Alagoas, in the municipality of Coruripe, and four in Minas Gerais, in the cities of Iturama, Campo Florido, Limeira do Oeste, and Carneirinho. The plant has a grinding capacity of 14.5 tons of sugarcane and produces 20 million sacks of sugar, 470 million liters of ethanol, and 690 megawatts/hour of electric energy. The plant generates about 7,000 direct jobs and 35,000 indirect jobs in the states of Alagoas and Minas Gerais.

Electrical Engineering Internship and University Internship

The job openings for electrical engineering interns and university interns are paid. To apply for these positions, the candidate must be pursuing a higher education degree in administration, accounting, or related fields. For the electrical engineering internship, it is necessary to be studying beyond the 5th semester of Electrical Engineering.

In the electrical engineering intern position, the hired person will be responsible for assisting in industrial instrumentation and automation activities. Additionally, in the university intern position, the hired person must organize documents, assist in waste management, prepare reports, and perform routine administrative activities pertinent to the environmental management system sector.

It is a prerequisite for most positions to reside in the described municipalities or nearby, in Minas Gerais.

Electrician

Requirements:

Completed High School;
Possess a Category B Driver’s License;
Knowledge of Electrical Systems for Trucks, Agricultural Machinery, and Air Conditioning;
An Electro-technical Course Will Be Considered a Differential;
Availability to Work Shifts.
