Corn Ethanol Plant Begins Operations in Nova Mutum (MT). Second Inpasa Brazil Unit is the 16th Brazilian Industry to Operate Producing Biofuel from Corn
More than 2,000 jobs were created during the construction of the 16th corn ethanol plant in Brazil. Inpasa Brazil has begun operating its newest plant, located in Nova Mutum, MT. The plant began functioning following the Operation License from the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas, and Biofuels (ANP) published yesterday (08/26) in the Official Gazette, which authorizes ethanol production.

The newest corn ethanol plant in Brazil has a capacity to produce 890 m³ of hydrated ethanol per day. There are 275 direct jobs created and at least three times more indirectly.
According to company information, the plant in Nova Mutum received an investment of R$ 550 million and generated around 2,000 jobs during construction. It is the second unit of the company in Mato Grosso: the other plant is located in Sinop, producing 560 million liters of corn ethanol annually.
According to the report from Inpasa, in addition to hydrated ethanol from corn, oil from corn and DDG – protein meal produced from grain distillation – will be produced at the plant.

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Requirements: Technical education in mechanics, experience in the role. Activities: Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on low and medium complexity industrial equipment.

Requirements: Higher education in forest engineering, desirable postgraduate degree in the forest area. Activities: Manage biomass yard, exotic forest management, forest asset management
Monitoring Analyst
Requirements: Complete high school, experience in the role. Activities: Act in the monitoring of cameras and alerts through a tool/panel, open calls, and direct them to the solving area.
Quality Analyst
Requirements: Complete higher education in food engineering or production engineering. Activities: Work on the APPCC study and actions related to food safety management. Monitor stages of the production process and actions of the Quality Management System planning and preparations for ISO 9001, ISO 22000, Kosher, and Halal certifications.
