For at least ten years, the municipality has lost many jobs and many companies have closed. The forecast for direct jobs is 2,000 job openings with the capacity to create 7,000 direct and indirect jobs,” said the mayor of Ribas do Rio Pardo, Paulo Cesar Lima Silveira.
The acquisition of 106,000 hectares and the Installation License for the pulp factory in the State was announced in a market communication issued by Suzano last Thursday, the 12th, and reflects the commitment of the MS State Government to attract investors and create an ideal business environment for attracting investments of this magnitude.
Mato Grosso do Sul currently has two pulp production plants from Suzano, formerly Fibria, and one from Eldorado, all in Três Lagoas, a municipality known as the “Pulp Capital,” with 92% of the production from the three factories currently destined for the international market.
