Volvo revealed the new XC90 2025 SUV in the Brazilian market, and the main highlight of the plug-in hybrid version is its ability to drive up to 47 km using only electric power. With visual updates, advanced technological features, and a focus on energy efficiency, the model remains one of the brand’s references in the luxury SUV segment. This information was reported by CNN Brazil.

Powerful Performance With Electric Urban Range

The Volvo XC90 2025 combines a combustion engine with an electric motor, totaling 468 hp of power and 72.2 kgfm of torque. According to CNN Brazil, this setup allows the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds, with a top speed of 180 km/h.

The greatest advantage is the ability to drive up to 47 km in 100% electric mode, ideal for daily urban commutes without gasoline consumption. The total range of the vehicle can reach 550 km with both systems operating.

Renewed Visual and More Sophisticated Interior

The new XC90 brings specific changes to the external design, such as a new front grille with diagonal bars, redesigned headlights, and a bumper with more refined lines. The rear also received taillights with darkened masks, and a new color, Mulberry Red, is now part of the catalog.

Inside, the SUV delivers a premium experience with a new 12.3-inch multimedia center, a dashboard with new air conditioning vents, and a redesigned steering wheel. The center console and door sides also underwent visual improvements.

Embedded Technology and High-Level Safety

The XC90 2025 continues to be one of Volvo’s most complete models in terms of driver assistance. The SUV offers an extensive list of standard features, including adaptive cruise control, cross-traffic alert, rearview camera with parking assistance, rain sensor, lane departure warning, frontal collision mitigation system, and mirrors with automatic anti-glare.

These features reinforce the brand’s commitment to active safety and driving comfort, which are key pillars of Volvo’s positioning in the premium segment.

According to CNN Brazil, the XC90 2025 will be sold in the country in three main versions:

XC90 Plus: R$ 639.950
XC90 Ultra: R$ 689.950
XC90 Ultra Dark: R$ 699.950

All versions maintain the high quality of finish and the same hybrid powertrains, with aesthetic and finishing variations.
