The new WEMOB-Wall is a charging station of up to 7.4 kW, being the most robust model in the WEMOB line. With an innovative design, the new charging station for electric cars developed by WEG promises to deliver new features that did not exist in the previous model.

The new charging station is smarter, capable of connecting to management platforms for cost-sharing or billing each user and, moreover, it can also connect to the internet. Besides that, the new electric vehicle charging stations allow access control via proximity cards or smartphone apps.

WEG Signs Contract With Alcântara Space Center (CEA) For Solar Energy Storage

The Alcântara Space Center (CEA), in partnership with the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB) and the Brazilian Air Force (FAB), signed a contract with WEG that ensures a greater capacity for generating and storing solar energy at the launch base in Alcântara, revolutionizing the renewable industry.

The CEA – Alcântara Space Center agreement – provides for WEG to supply a complete solar energy storage system in lithium-ion batteries. Additionally, the contract includes the development of a network control system that operates autonomously, the famous microgrids, which will be powered by various energy sources.
