Wilson Sons Tugboats Is Hiring Marine Engineer and Captain to Operate in the Business Fleet in Rio Grande (RS).
Wilson Sons announced on its official page on March 25 that it is hiring maritime professionals. The company closed its 2018 results with a 19% increase in gross revenue compared to the previous year, rising from 121.5M in 2017 to 144.7M in 2018. The company, which celebrated 20 years of consolidated and innovative operations in 2018, operates through its two platforms in the Northeast, in Suape (PE), and Southeast, in Santo André (SP). The units include an Inland Customs Station (EADI), Distribution Center, and transportation services. Another conversion is underway at Wilson Sons Shipyards. By the end of March, the Guarujá Shipyard will complete the conversion of the PSV (Platform Supply Vessel) Fulmar, from Wilson Sons Ultratug Offshore, to SDSV (Shallow Dive Supply Vessel), a support vessel for shallow diving. The work involves the usual partnership with Damen Shipyards Group and WEG in upgrading the dynamic positioning system from DP-1 to DP-2 and the direct involvement of 120 employees. Wilson Sons Shipyards has a portfolio of another 20 dockings scheduled for 2019 and a tugboat already under construction.
