Another test by the same publication, predominantly conducted in the city of São Paulo and occasionally with a passenger, recorded approximately 30 km/L with gasoline and 22 km/L with ethanol. The differences clearly indicate that the results depend significantly on the route and usage conditions.
16.5-liter tank can lead to a range well over 440 km
Honda states a 16.5-liter total capacity for the fuel tank. This size is particularly relevant as it allows even moderate fuel consumption to translate into good range between refuels.
Using 30 km/L, a result obtained in one of the tests with gasoline, a simple multiplication results in approximately 495 km of theoretical range. With the 33.97 km/L recorded in another comparison, the calculation exceeds 560 km.
Even using a more conservative reference of 27 km/L, the 16.5 liters would allow for about 445 km in a purely mathematical account. This is why stating an estimated range of over 440 km remains compatible with published results, as long as it is understood as a projection and not as a guaranteed distance.
In real usage, one should not plan the route until the tank is completely empty. The weight of the rider, passenger, speed, fuel, wind, tire pressure, traffic, and maintenance can significantly alter the range.
Weight of 135 kg keeps the Twister relatively easy to handle
Despite moving into the 250 cc category, the CB Twister is not overly heavy. Honda claims 135 kg of dry weight in the standard configuration and 137 kg in the ABS version.
