Edsun Recently Signed a Contract to Build the First Solar Power Plant in Maranhão

Edsun, a startup that invests in solar energy and other renewable sources, has just signed a contract for the construction of its first solar power plant in Maranhão. The system will be installed in the Essenza condominium with an investment of R$ 200 thousand. The project is a partnership between the startup and the company Sun Supply, which will carry out the installation of the power plant in Maranhão.

Edsun’s CEO explains, “Maranhão has great potential for solar energy. Our goal is to install 30 more plants in the state.” Edsun is looking for condominiums to install its photovoltaic solar power plants and, thus, reduce electricity bill costs by up to 30%. The condominiums do not need to bear any costs, as the startup’s investors purchase the equipment and profit through renting the structures. Edsun guarantees maintenance throughout the contract duration at no extra cost for the condominium in Maranhão.

“Solar energy is clean and profitable, which is why we believe in the full potential of solar power plants, which are the future of electricity distribution,” says Cristiano Costa from Sun Supply.
