In this context, automakers have been revising industrial and commercial strategies.

In interviews conducted throughout 2025, executives from Volkswagen Brazil stated that the brand is preparing a new offensive in the pickup segment.
The president of the Brazilian operation, Ciro Possobom, declared that the company is working on a broad strategy for this type of vehicle, without directly confirming the continuity of the Saveiro.
Specialized reports indicate that Volkswagen is developing a new pickup, larger than the current Saveiro and positioned in an intermediate segment.
The project is referred to by different provisional names and has not yet had confirmed technical specifications.
There has also been no public announcement regarding the exact date of the end of Saveiro production, although 2026 is pointed out as a likely horizon for this transition.
New Fiat Argo And The Generation Change Of The Hatch

In the case of the Fiat Argo, the expected change does not involve an immediate end to the name, but a complete replacement of the current product.

Market data shows a consistent decline in this type of car’s share, while compact SUVs continue to grow.
Industry sources indicate that Hyundai is exploring alternatives to replace the HB20S with a model more closely resembling a crossover.

With the increase in sales of the new Kicks, production of the Kicks Play in Resende, Rio de Janeiro, is expected to end.

The production of the compact sedan was halted in Brazil in 2024, according to a statement from the automaker and reports from the automotive sector.

Additionally, other plans involve vehicles in higher categories.
In the international market, the Logan has received recent updates.
Still, Renault has already stated that it does not intend to bring this new generation to Brazil.
