“Today marks a significant step in the relations between Uruguay and Brazil with the integration of infrastructure agendas in both countries. From now on, we will invite other partner countries, such as Argentina and Paraguay, to establish goals so that this agenda can be implemented and strengthen the economy at our borders,” said the infrastructure minister.
With investments of R$ 150 million, the construction of 12 km of the bridge over the Jaguarão River, located on BR-116 in Rio Grande do Sul, will be the responsibility of Brazil, according to a contract signed in 2013. It is estimated that the bidding for this project will happen in this year 2020 so that project execution can occur in 2021.
