What Happened and Why It Caught Attention
The Compass was unveiled in Barcelona and appears as a completely renewed SUV, still easily recognizable by the front grille with seven vertical bars, a trademark of Jeep.
The new generation maintains the focus on robustness and versatility, aiming for good performance both on asphalt and off-road, without abandoning the brand’s typical visual line.
The project brings a clear combination of aesthetic update and technological advancement, with electrification at the core of the strategy.

Dimensions and Design Reinforce the Proposal of Robustness
The model measures 4.55 meters in length and 1.90 meters in width, with well-designed approach and departure angles and 20 centimeters of ground clearance.
The body features large wheel arches and wheels of up to 19 inches, reinforcing the image of a strong SUV ready for different terrains.
At the front, LED headlights and turn signals accompany the grille, with a continuous lighting signature. At the bottom, there is a large black intake with movable openings and an aluminum protector.
Interior Grows and Invests in Technology With Physical Controls
The cabin has become more spacious and prioritizes a sense of quality, featuring good materials and solid assembly, without noise and vibrations.
The Compass utilizes solutions designed for off-road use, with upholstery and floor mats that facilitate cleaning after dirt drives.
The dashboard features a configurable digital screen of 10 inches and an option for Head-Up Display. In the center, the multimedia system has a horizontal screen of 16 inches, with physical buttons below for air conditioning and essential functions.

Connectivity and Assistance Place the SUV at Level 2
The wireless connection with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is standard, making cellphone use more practical in daily life.
The safety and assistance package is extensive, bringing the Compass to Level 2 of autonomous driving, with features that assist in driving and vehicle control.
The focus is to reduce the driver’s effort in common scenarios, such as highways and traffic, allowing for a smoother driving experience.
550-Liter Trunk and Well-Defined Driving Modes
The central tunnel concentrates the main controls, with a rotary gear selector, electric parking brake, and driving mode control.
There are modes for automatic, sport, snow, mud, and sand, in addition to the electric mode in plug-in hybrid versions.
Wireless charging, USB ports, and storage compartments are also available. The trunk reaches 550 liters, one of the strongest figures in the segment.
Engines Start With the e Hybrid of 145 Horsepower and Go Up to Electric of 375 HP
The entry version is the Compass e Hybrid with 145 horsepower, combining a 1.2 turbo three-cylinder engine with 136 HP and an electric motor of 29 HP, powered by a 0.89 kWh battery.
The 48-volt system allows driving in electric mode at low speeds and during maneuvers, with recharging through braking and deceleration. The combined range reaches 932 kilometers, with an average consumption of 5.9 liters per 100 km.
The price starts just above 43,000 euros in the Altitude trim. Meanwhile, the 100% electric version with 213 HP and a 77 kWh battery offers 500 kilometers of WLTP range and starts at around 50,000 euros.
Later, the Compass e Hybrid Plug-In will arrive, featuring a gasoline engine of 150 HP, an electric motor of 125 HP, and a 21 kWh battery, promising up to 85 kilometers in electric mode and almost 1,000 kilometers total. The lineup also includes an electric version with 231 HP and a 97 kWh battery, capable of up to 650 kilometers, in addition to the top model with two motors, 4×4 traction, and 375 HP.
The new Jeep Compass expands space, reinforces technology, and focuses on a complete electrified range, with an emphasis on urban use and capability for various types of roads.
With options ranging from 145 to 375 HP, alongside declared autonomy that reaches 932 kilometers and electric versions with up to 650 kilometers, the model targets those seeking efficiency without giving up style and the Jeep proposal.
