Amid the urban scenery of São Paulo, known for its concrete landscape and hustle and bustle, Cidade Matarazzo emerges, a luxury megaproject that promises to revolutionize engineering in the capital of São Paulo.

Created by French businessman Alexandre Allard and architect Jean Nouvel, this project is the largest restoration in Latin America, combining historical preservation with luxurious modernity.

Founded in 1904, the mega project began with Matarazzo Hospital, located in the Bela Vista neighborhood, close to Avenida Paulista, was a milestone in medical assistance for Italian immigrants in Brazil, more specifically in São Paulo.

After years of abandonment, the complex was acquired in 2011 by the international group of Allard for 117 million reais. With the approval of the government and the Council for the Defense of Historic Heritage, the restoration and revitalization project began to take shape.

One of the most impressive aspects of the project is the technique used in moving the Santa Luzia Chapel and the Condessa Filomena Matarazzo Maternity Hospital.

The chapel, weighing 1.400 tons, was moved with a innovative technique, keeping its historical structure intact. The project also stands out for its use of high-density concrete, a more sustainable option that reduces water consumption in construction.

O complex hotel, partially opened in 2022, will offer 164 luxury residential suites, designed by designer Philippe Starck and decorated with works by contemporary Brazilian artists.

A Atlantic Forest Tower, designed by Jean Nouvel, will be a symbol of São Paulo, with an imposing facade and 250 trees on its slabs, creating a unique connection with the Brazilian vegetation.

Job generation; the future of Cidade Matarazzo

O Matarazzo City It is not just a restoration project, but a driver of economic and cultural transformation.

Generating more than 15 thousand direct and indirect jobs with investments totaling 3 billion reais, the complex promises to be a new meeting point for São Paulo residents and visitors, offering a unique experience of art, culture and gastronomy.

Cidade Matarazzo is destined to become the new postcard of São Paulo, alongside icons such as MASP, Edifício Itália and Copan.

This mega project represents a new era for the city, where history meets innovation, creating a unique space of luxury, culture and sustainability.
