What will Suzuki's new Trail be like?
The new motorcycle Suzuki DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM share a new 400cc engine and actually replace the DR-Z 400S and DR-Z 400SM. Both bikes share the same engine.
The single-cylinder engine with dual overhead camshafts and liquid cooling has a five-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. The new Suzuki Trail delivers 38 hp at 8.000 RPM and 3,7 kgfm of torque at 6.500 rpm.
The new Suzuki bike's steel twin-spar frame is all-new, as is the adjustable KYB inverted suspension at the front. Electronically, there's now ride-by-wire with three engine maps, adjustable traction control and ABS, which can be disabled on the rear wheel for the SM and on both wheels for the S.
The other differences between the two models naturally involve the wheels. The trail DR-Z4S It has a 21-inch rim at the front and 18-inch at the rear, while both are 17 inches on the SM. In addition, the front brake disc is floating and larger in the case of the DR-Z4 SM.
The motorcycles also feature the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System, which includes three riding modes to adapt to the rider's style and road conditions. In addition, two-level adjustable traction control and configurable ABS are present.
