Applications will be open until January 26, with exams scheduled for March, and all positions are based in Brasília.
The 2026 contest announcement plans to hire 70 employees for the Chamber of Deputies, in addition to creating a reserve list with an equal number of positions.

One of the main attractions is that the announcement does not require a degree in a specific area. The candidate only needs to have a higher education diploma recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC), which significantly expands the number of interested individuals.
In addition, the approved professional must remain in the initial assignment unit for a minimum of three years, as stipulated in the rules of the 2026 contest.

The activities of the Legislative Analyst involve strategic functions within the Chamber of Deputies. Among the main responsibilities are:
Planning, guidance and execution of administrative and legislative activities;
Technical support in areas such as people management, budgeting, finance, information technology, bidding, contracts and social communication;
Assistance to the Board of Directors, committees and leaders on constitutional and procedural matters;
Preparation of legislative and administrative documents;
Organization and updating of legislative, financial and budgetary data.

Legislative Technician Also Has Immediate Positions and Attractive Salary
The Chamber of Deputies contest also offers 35 immediate positions for the role of Legislative Technician. The starting salary is R$ 21.008,19, a figure considered high for the role.
In this position, the employee will engage in technical activities related to the planning, control and execution of administrative and legislative work.
Additionally, they will be responsible for providing operational support to the units of the House, committees, Board of Directors and parliamentary leaders.
Among the functions are also the preparation of documents, reports and the development of projects related to the management of human, material, budgetary, financial and information resources.
Distribution of Positions in the Chamber of Deputies Contest
Of the total of immediate positions, the 2026 contest maintains a balanced division between the roles. There are 35 vacancies for Legislative Analyst and 35 for Legislative Technician.
In addition, the announcement predicts a reserve list with 70 more positions, maintaining the same proportion.
The distribution includes affirmative actions, with positions allocated for broad competition, people with disabilities, black and brown candidates, indigenous people and quilombolas.
Requirements for Taking Office in the 2026 Contest
To take on one of the positions in the Chamber of Deputies, the approved candidate must meet the following criteria:
Be a Brazilian or Portuguese national, with recognized political rights;
Be in compliance with electoral and military obligations, when applicable;
Be at least 18 years old on the date of taking office;
Have physical and mental fitness to perform the role;
Present a graduation diploma.
