The electric motorcycle is officially being sold, with state-of-the-art technology and excellent autonomy
WATTS' first electric motorcycle, called W125, started to be sold this year, since it started to run on the streets in December 2022. Now, after its pre-sale period, the electric motorcycle is available for purchase in all states of Brazil and with batteries that promise an absurd autonomy.
The electric motorcycle is being sold in two versions: one with one battery and one with two batteries.
As expected, the electric motorcycle that has only one battery offers a range of up to 75 km and the one with two batteries offers a range of 150 km. The values of electric motorcycles, with exclusive autonomy, one battery and two batteries respectively are R$ 19.990 and R$ 24.990.

If we compare Watts' new electric motorcycle with conventional electric motorcycles already sold in Brazil, owners of new electric motorcycles will spend an average of R$130 on energy to charge it, while with conventional motorcycles the cost of energy to charge it can reach R$1.200 depending on the supply of fuels in the region, according to WATTS founder Rodrigo Gomes.
According to the founder of the brand, the price to be paid for consumer to run about 1.000 km with the new electric motorcycle would be approximately R$ 20, depending on the price of energy in each region of Brazil.
Features of the new WATTS electric motorcycle
In addition to the option to purchase an electric motorcycle with one or two batteries, the vehicle also has many other attractions. The new electric motorcycle has a top speed of up to 90 km per hour and a 3.000 W motor. In addition, the motorcycle has exclusive fire-fighting technology, an ultra-fast charge of up to 80% in one hour and a weight capacity of 120 kg and 20 kg in the trunk.
It does not stop there! The new motorcycle does not generate noise pollution or emit CO2, which can be considered a way of reducing impacts on the environment.
The consumer already leaves the store with a reverse system, digital panel, USB input, LED headlight, disc brake, alarm and control included in his electric motorcycle.
Watts also offers free revisions when the electric motorcycle completes 1.000 km and 5.000 km run.
WATTS in the electric motorcycle market
According to Gomes: “We are pioneers in offering electric motorcycles with exclusive autonomy in Brazil and, ever since we launched our first model focused on electric mobility, we realized that the issue of practicality in charging the battery is a latent issue for Brazilians. That's why we developed a fast, easy-to-carry, dual-volt charger so that customers have more freedom and convenience to recharge wherever and whenever they want”.
The founder explains that in 2023 Watts will launch three more electric motorcycles at its Manaus unit. The factory that will now be in Brazil will bring more comfort to the consumer, since he will be able to receive spare parts more quickly and the after-sales service will be more effective.
He ends by saying: “We are very happy with the success of the W125 of autonomy in the market and we continue working to offer the best for companies and people who, more and more, are looking for better cost-effectiveness and more sustainable transport options”.
