Young Apprentice At Alumar In São Luís

The positions are for two industrial apprenticeship courses:

• Electromechanics Technician
• Aluminum Metallurgical Processes Operator (OPMA)

The Young Apprentice Program at Alumar in São Luís lasts a maximum of two years and is divided into two phases: The theoretical part, conducted in partnership with Senai, and the practical part, where young people will work in one of Alumar’s areas.

The Consortium offers an apprentice salary and other benefits to the young people who secure the positions and, in addition to all this, after training, those approved for the positions in São Luís will be included in the talent pool to be hired in the future, according to the company’s vacancies and needs.

The selection process will occur through an initial screening based on prerequisites, psychological evaluations, knowledge tests in mathematics and Portuguese, group dynamics, and interviews.

Requirements Proposed By Alumar For The Program

To participate in the Young Apprentice program, candidates must meet some requirements proposed by the company for the positions, such as being aged between 18 and 22 years at the time of application. If the candidate is a PCD, the minimum age is 18, and there is no maximum age limit.

It will be necessary to have completed high school, not have any other training or technical qualifications in the chosen area, and have full-time availability. Additionally, it will be necessary to have the following documentation:

• Proof of Address
• ID Card (RG)
• PIS
• Birth or Marriage Certificate
• SUS Card
• High School Certificate
• Regularized CPF
• Voter Registration
• Military Service Certificate
• Physical or Digital Work Card – CTPS
