National Mining Agency Advances with Public Competition and Hiring of Organizing Bank
The National Mining Agency (ANM) is preparing to launch a new public competition that promises to offer 220 vacancies in several areas. The organizer of the bank has already been defined: Cebraspe has been officially hired to coordinate the selection process. The ANM competition will open 220 vacancies divided among the following positions:

For both positions, a higher education degree is required. The offered salaries are attractive: for the position of Administrative Analyst, the starting salary is R$12,734.92. For the position of Specialist in Mineral Resources, the starting salary is R$ 16,413.35.
Test Structure
Details about the announcement are not yet finalized, but the test structure has already been defined. According to information obtained by Qconcursos and Folha Dirigida, the evaluation of candidates will include four phases:
1st Objective Test: 120 multiple-choice questions, including 50 General Knowledge questions and 70 Specific Knowledge questions.
2nd Discursive Test: Essay on current topics for the Analyst position and response to a specific question for the Specialist position.
3rd Title Evaluation.
4th Training Course.
The objective test will have a traditional format with “true or false” questions, where each correct answer will be worth one point and incorrect answers will result in the loss of one point.
Competition Schedule
Despite the expectation of the announcement being published in December 2024, the ANM competition schedule follows the subsequent phases:
· Announcement Publication: expected for December 2024
· Competition Ratification: September 2025
· Appointment: starting from October 2025, depending on authorization from MGI
· Taking Office and Starting Work: up to 45 days after the appointment
