ANP Monitors Fuel Market Continuously. Currently, Supply Is Regular Throughout the National Territory
ANP published on July 1 the Supply Notice No. 02/2022/SDL/ANP, aiming to intensify the monitoring of A S10 diesel fuel imports. The measure was approved by the Agency’s Board on June 30.
ANP monitors fuel market continuously. Currently, supply is regular throughout the national territory. The Supply Notice aims to allow for an intensified monitoring of A S10 diesel imports, in light of the current global geopolitical situation.
Thus, the producers and distributors listed in the Notice (the same as those already listed in the Supply Notice No. 1/SDL/ANP, dated March 21, 2022) must inform ANP, through a specific form, the relation of all contracted A S10 diesel imports that have not yet been nationalized, detailing: port of origin, effective boarding date, volume in cubic meters (m³), destination port in Brazil, expected arrival date, and storage terminal (or base) (whether operations are carried out directly with the external market or through a third party).

They must also report to the same agents any difficulties in contracting importation and/or shipping for A S10 diesel imports to Brazil, if they occur. In this case, it will be necessary to describe in detail the circumstances of import restriction, locality, and whether said restriction is total or partial, as well as pertinent additional information.
Submitting New Information on A S10 Diesel Imports Does Not Exclude Existing Obligations of Agents
According to ANP’s notice, the submission of new information on A S10 diesel imports does not exclude the obligations already placed on the agents mentioned in Supply Notice No. 1/SDL/ANP, dated March 21, 2022. Thus, all distributors and producers listed in the first notice will need to continue submitting all data that has been routinely provided.
