ANP publishes notice to intensify monitoring of S10 diesel oil imports, given the current global geopolitical situation

The ANP permanently monitors the fuel market. At the moment, the supply is regular throughout the national territory.

On July 01st, the ANP published Surveillance Notice No. 02/2022/SDL/ANP, with the aim of intensifying the monitoring of A S10 diesel oil imports. the measure was approved by the Board of the Agency, on June 30th.

The ANP permanently monitors the fuel market. At the moment, the supply is regular throughout the national territory. The Supply Surveillance aims to allow the monitoring of A S10 diesel imports to be intensified, in view of the current global geopolitical situation.

Thus, the producers and distributors listed on Sobreaviso (the same ones that were already listed on Notice No. 1/SDL/ANP, of March 21, 2022) must inform the ANP, by means of a specific form, the list of all imports already contracted for A S10 diesel oil that have not yet been nationalized, detailing: port of origin, effective date of shipment, volume in cubic meters (m³), port of destination in Brazil, expected date of arrival and storage terminal (or base) (whether operations are carried out directly with the foreign market or through a third party). 

They must also be informed, by the same agents, if they occur, difficulties in contracting the import and/or ship to import A S10 diesel oil to Brazil. In this case, it will be necessary to describe in detail the circumstances of the import restriction, location and whether said restriction is total or partial, as well as additional pertinent information. 

Submission of new information on imports of diesel oil S10 does not exclude obligations already placed on agents

According to the ANP statement, the sending of new information on imports of diesel oil A S10 does not exclude the obligations already placed on the agents listed in the Notice No.1/SDL/ANP, of March 21, 2022. and producers listed in the first communication will need to continue sending all the data already routinely submitted.
